CERAHEAT4.0 addresses the problem of energy efficiency in the production of fiber composite ceramics or CMCs (Ceramic Matrix Composites) as well as saving energy with the help of digital optimization. Experimental data is transferred into digital models and the optimization potential is examined, verified and presented along a complex process chain.
The project goal is to optimize the use of resources for the CMC manufacturing process, which involves strong interactions, while at the same time reducing energy use by a total of around 40 percent. Maintaining the required product quality is mandatory.
